Jimmy Inman was the Church Planter and now serves as Teaching Pastor and an Elder at True Life Church in Jefferson City, TN. He was born and raised in Morristown, TN, and his family moved back to this area in 2002 to be a part of starting True Life after living in North Carolina and then Maryland. He graduated from Morristown West High School in 1988 and went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Carson Newman College. He graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995.
Jimmy trusted Christ as Lord and Savior at age 9. At age 19 he answered God’s call on his life. He was later ordained by Montvue Baptist Church in Morristown.
He has served on church staffs at Montvue Baptist Church in Morristown, TN and Open Door Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. He was Pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Frederick, MD. Through the ministry of True Life, he is also involved in planting churches in the United States and Honduras.
Jimmy married Robin Wilder of Morristown in 1990 and they have three children: Jay, Mollie, and Lillie. Jimmy enjoys sports, music, and hanging out with his family.
